Let There Be Light! The people walking in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of the shadow of death a light has dawned. Isaiah 9:2 Today Christians around the world willl light the first candle on their Advent wreaths. This flame will be joined by other lights of the season–festive strands on Christmas trees, colorful bulbs outlining roofs, blinking lights in shrubs and windows. Christ, the Light of the World, is coming! Let Him shine through you today and in the coming weeks. As we enter into this blessed season of Jesus birth, share your deepest desires with God.
