Let me advise Ugandans especially NRM leaders that it will be difficult to avoid a political crisis in Uganda if NRM leadership continues to shamelessly ignore capable people and marginalize Ugandans in the opposition. We know Museveni has strong external and military backing but so did the Shah of Iran; Marcos of Philippines; Haile Selassie of Ethiopia; Mobutu of Zaire; Ben Ali of Tunisia; Somoza of Nicaragua; Mubarak of of Egypt Compaore of Burkina Faso. I could go on. Let me advise Museveni my Ntare School OB that this is the time while his donor and military support lasts to arrange for an all transitional government including NRM. At this rate of decadence underpinned by corruption and sectarianism NRM wont survive. Charles I of Britain; Louis XVI of France and Nicholas II of Russia thought they would rule for life. We know what happened. Museveni you are not an exception. When Ugandans descend on you dont complain that you were not given good advice including by people who oppose your policies. Ugandans must begin to practice the politics of tolerance and reconciliation instead of going after those who give honest advice. Happy Holiday everyone.
