Let me be abundantly clear that for me, the whole Cosby thing is BIGGER than Cosby.....I dont really care if you think he is guilty or innocent...what has bothered me the most about this entire situation is my realization that our society too quickly jumps on a bandwagon to vilify and or discredit women who come forward about rape and/or abuse allegations.....it is absolutely true that one must be considered innocent until proven guilty...but I am extremely uncomfortable with how quickly we forget to apply that rule to victims/alleged victims. We are far too forgiving of violence against women in this country.....when I see my sisters in these streets going hard in protest....fighting for the lives of Black men, it makes me both proud and sad....because I wonder when the hell are these men gonna get in the street and protest for US and fight for OUR RIGHTS??!?!?!???
