Let me just share that my side hurts from laughing so hard every time I replay this video. lol The gist of it is a group of Michael Brown protesters crashing an orchestra performance by singing a song and repeatedly chanting at the very end BLACK LIVES MATTER-BLACK LIVES MATTER! Thats not the funny part, of course. No, for me, the AUDIENCE REACTION to the unforeseen protest is what has me rolling over and over again. lol But before I delve into that, let me first just say that the mastermind responsible for planning this was FRIGGIN BRILLIANT! Michael Brown protesters have been pounding the pavement in Ferguson, Missouri for months now...Hey--why not take the protesting out of the streets and bring this cause to a different demographic altogether? Friggin brilliant, I say. And, Nikki Giovanni would join me in giving thanks to the white faces with black minds who made it happen--the majority of the protesters were white men and white women, which obviously came as even more of a surprise to the predominantly white concert audience. But, getting back to the funny audience members, I did happen to notice one black woman in attendance at the concert that night. Now, can you just imagine how she must have felt? Black Lady: I cant believe theyre doing this...now everybody in here is probably looking at me, thinking Im a part of all this just because Im black. LOL! Then, of course, there was the Orchestra Conductor, himself. He was just standing onstage, looking upward in the direction of the mezzanine section with his hands on his hips. The poor fella reminded me of Spike Lee when his beloved New York Knicks are trailing big-time on the scoreboard. LOL! While the protesters were singing, I thought I could make out the sounds of some Boos, but those were quickly overtaken by the hand-clapping of those audience members smart enough to foresee the whole affair going viral. lol Theres this one white man in the audience who realizes the cameras on him and so pulls out the fakest, most exagerrated smile in the world--Im talking about a smile with all 28 of his teeth! LOL But, finally, theres always someone in the crowd who could care less about being politically correct. This one white woman in a black evening dress has the most DIS-GUS-TED look on her face, her mouth held ajar in utter distaste and horror. Shes looking to her date for affirmation but, of course, hes just keeping it cool for the cameras. LOL!!!!
