He has many musical hits to his credits but he was most successful in bringing out the best out of Lata Mangeshkar. They have combined superbly well together to give us the most beautiful songs like Mai to tum sang nain mila ke haar gayee sajana - Manmauji , Naina barse rimjhim-rimjhim- Woh kaun Thi, Naino mein badara chaye- Mera Saaya, etc to name a few. To make these songs more appealing, Sadhana as one of the most beautiful artistes, has contributed greatly. She looks stunningly pretty in this movie - Woh Kaun Thi . She was the most popular actress of her time with a beautiful face, somewhere in between Madhubala and Nargis and was the role model for most young girls with her hair cut, popularly known as Sadhana Cut.
