Let me preface this post by saying, Tibby is fine! I was giving Maxx his meds tonight. I put 2 phenobarbital and 2 soloxine in some cream cheese on a piece of bread like I always do. When I turned around to give it to him, Tibby was there and he ate it! Panic reigned supreme. First, I can say that dogs apparently gave no gag reflex if you stick your finger (hand) down their throat. Next, I called the vet. I was a raving, frothing, sobbing, snotty lunatic! I am mortified to go back. Ultimately, the dose was not deadly. He really doesnt even seem too impacted!
