Let me say, Kill the Moon was a decent enough piece of Who. I can see why Clara over-reacted but I think the Doctor was right. NOT entirely consistent with his past history but right. In a slightly different way, it was the same as Tom Baker standing over the Daleks future and refusing to commit genocide; Have I the right? It may be as far as the two can go together, judging from her reaction or at least signal the end of their relationship, especially as Danny has already started taking that place in her life and the trips with the Doc have become less fairy-tale fun and more horrendous emotional experiences. Some nice shots on the moon and interactions with the astronauts and CGI spiders. Shame they werent the good old Metebelis III variety though, just to push the Pertwee era connections a bit.
