Let me share a story with you :-) Now I have nine best friends, Steven is not necessarily one of them but in all honesty, I love him just the same. The love, commitment and quality of sharing of our hearts with each other is genuine. If you want the example of a good and at the same time great and humbled man who loves his wife there you will find Steve. I hope it is ok to share this but no matter how busy his fulltime work schedule is a nurse, no matter how much of a work load he has (because he is working on his masters in nursing I believe fulltime as well), no matter how much mandatory time he has to dedicate to his profession he and his wife Kari Johnson Buccambuso have a date night each and every week. I dont spend much time with them as I would like, but whenever we get together it is always special, it is like the three of us just met last week and we are picking up right where we left off, but in actuality it might of been two or three months ago.... I trust the both of them my heart, my whole heart and I share the whole me with them each and every time we meet and they dont know this because I never told them this but I am going to say it now. Every time after visiting them, typically three to six hour visits (every time), it starts with light conversation and one of us cooking, we take turns, I cook or they cook, and every time after I leave their home I always feel better. It is not that I ever feel bad (because if you know me you know I dont) but in a very wholesome.... man do it like Steve did it kind of way, marry the right individual the first time, be there for your family, no excuses make time for the love of your life each and every week (no excuses) and make time to spend time with your kids and then keep working on everything else in your life with a humbled excellence. These are my friends they know all about me to my family, to what one or two individuals I have really liked in life and I know all about them and their family really as well, the love, trust, respect and overall care is there. Now this is where this all came from, I am preparing to speak a couple of hours from now and when you are preparing to speak you are never finished with the thoughts, emotions, and what exactly you are going to say, it is always just time and I will never forget what Steve told me when I first met him a little over eight years ago. He didnt even really know me them but he knew me enough to tell me something I have learned over the years that has been coming to pass more and more. He looked with a seriousness right at me like a father would tell his son something or like a wise man would share something of great value to the one if that makes any sense... like he really had something to say and he said, Courtney, almost never or very very rarely are the best presenters/communicators/ speakers the best actual doers, he went on to tell me, you have both of those abilities, you have the potential to do both throughout your life, I already see signs of this he said. In that moment he also said this with the same level of importance and seriousness, he said, people dont date people like you, they read about people like you, whoever she is she is probably intimidated by you at first. He spoke into my life that day. Tamer Fathy the legend has it before I worked on and accomplished getting my MPA, I double majored and minored, worked three jobs, worked seven days a week and only missed one day, was the president of a community enhancement organization, had a solid 12 followers and helped over 5,000 people all at the same time. Is that true or is that just legend, well the truth is, that is just called life really, doing whatever it takes and for the record, it is true and Steve volunteered for me and I met him in a sociology course I couldnt fail!lol I will put it this way, no one with any effort was failing that class!lol It was on my heart to share and just say thank you Stephen and Kari Johnson Buccambuso for being great friends and examples for me and other people, I love you guys :-)
