Let me take this opportunity to announce; we are FREE but not equal... While we recognize the awesomeness in freedom we must also "Wear the Mask", as Paul Lawrence Dunbar would say. There is no justification in #TrayvonMartins death, please take this moment to be honest with yourself,whether you be black, white or green. There is a gender inequality, there is race inequality and Ageism is quickly approaching so beware! However, I believe that i serve a Just GOD!!!! My prayers go out to all the suspicious looking children who wonder the streets with the naive idea that they are safe because they are not criminals, because the precedent has been set that you ( no matter the race- as long as you appear suspicious) deserve to be harrassed, followed and shot. I pray for those who are blinded by Trayvons race or attire and cannot see the injustice. I pray that the defense lawyers can sleep well as they too might have heavy hearts for their part in this mindblowing outcome. I pray for the #MartinFamily most of all that they will find peace and lastly i pray that my son never becomes the illustration of inequality, the target of a terrorist, the victim of a vigilanty, the casualty of a crazy, the poster child for prejudice, the image of the consequence of ignorance or the reason I get life in Jail. Lord knows if i was his daddy i would be suspicious of #Zimmerman, follow him and shoot him in self defense because i was afraid he would shoot me like he did my son...
