Let me talk to you about some things about God that maybe you didn’t know. Look with me if you will in 1John 3:20 “For if our heart condemns us, God greater than our heart, and knoweth all things” Would you agree with me that God is omniscient, that He knows all things? Ps 147:5 tells us “Great is our Lord, and of great power: His understanding is infinite. Again in Heb 4:13 we read “Neither is there any creature that is not manifested in HIs sight, but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of Him with whom we have to do” We can say Amen to that. Then in Prov 15:3 we find these words “The eyes of the Lord are in every place, beholding the evil and the good.” So we see that God knows mankind. He knows our thoughts and our words. He knows our deed’s and our sorrows. He knows our needs as well as our devotion to Him. God knows our frailties and our foolishness. In 2Timothy 2:19 we find “Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord Knoweth them that are His, and let everyone that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.” See God knows His own, Aren’t you thankful for that. I have said all of that so that you can know the power of God but there is something else I want to share with you. I have preached this many times, and want to share it with you. I want to tell you some things that God doesn’t know. I know, you think I feel off the turnip truck. But just bear with me. FIRST: God does not know a sinner that doesn’t need saving. In Rom 3:10 we find “ As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:” No one but Jesus has lived on this earth free of sin. Then in Rom 3:23 we see “ For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” God knows and God worked to make a way for sinners to come to Christ. SECOND: God does not know a sinner that cannot be saved. In Rom 5:8 we read “But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us” Every sinner can come to Christ if they will just repent and believe with their heart. THIRD: God does not know better place to go except to heaven. In Col 4:1 it says, “Masters, give unto your servants that which is just and equal, know that ye also have a Master in heaven.” In Philippians 3:20 we see “For our conversation is in heaven from whence also we look for the Saviour. the Lord Jesus Christ.” John 14:1-3 declares “Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.” FOURTH: God does not know a worse place to go except Hell. We find In Matt 25:46 “And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal” FIFTH: God does not know a better place to worship Him than in his house. In Heb 10:25 we read “Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.” Folks as we see the hastening of the Lord returning to this earth we are to come together more and more comforting one another, helping each other as that day approaches. SIX: God does not know a better time to get saved than today. 2Cor 6:2 “. . . . .now is the accepted time, behold, now is the day of salvation” Folks we are promised tomorrow, we are told that while it is today, now, here and now, this is the day of salvation. Some say well I will someday but not today. Tomorrow might never come. Thousands are dying every minute of every day. All of those thousands were looking forward to tomorrow. They weren’t given the next minute. They weren’t given the next second. Everyone of them had plans, had futures mapped out, all for nothing, they are dead and more thousands will die in the next minute. If you have not surrendered your life to God and given yourself to Him, do it now, right now, before its to late. SEVEN: God does not know any other way to be saved than by Jesus Christ. John 14:6 declares to us “ Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” See no one can come into a relationship with God accept thru the Son of God, the Lord Jesus Christ. Look at what John says in 1John 5:11-13 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. “ My friend, Jesus is the only way, Allah, Buddha, Mohammad nor anyone else can save you, only the risen Lord Jesus Christ can save you. He will save you if you come to Him today. Oh come to the Savior today, tomorrow may never come, Come while you can.
