Let me tell you a little story about my life. Yesterday after the movie, I came home to nap, but before I did, I put on the washing machine. Once that was done, I tucked myself into bed only to have hubby kick down the door three minutes later freaking out about the house being flooded. It turns out, the washing machine decided to blow its pipe. Yep. Water was up to my ankles. It SOAKED both my lounge rooms, both my spare rooms, my daughters room, both hallways and the kitchen. We only JUST managed to get the water to stop before it flooded our bedroom and my office. For some strange reason, my laundry doesnt have a drain on the floor and so the water filled my house. We spent four hours last night drying the tiles and pushing everything we owned onto the tiled area. Joy. Carpet restoration people arrived this morning only to tell us we have to rip out our carpets, cut off the skirting boards and dry the walls. Now, Im in the process of packing my bags because we cant stay here for a few days. DOES THE UNIVERSE NOT KNOW IM 38 WEEKS PREGNANT with DEADLINES and a SORE throat? Goddamn.
