Let no one deceive himself. If anyone among you seems to be wise - TopicsExpress

Let no one deceive himself. If anyone among you seems to be wise in this age, let him become a fool that he may become wise. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He (GOD) catches the wise in their craftiness. 1 Corinthians 3:18-19 I have always wondered if Tom Hiddleston read the scripture above when he coined these words, stay hungry, stay young, stay foolish, stay curious, and above all, stay HUMBLE because just when you think you got all the answers,is the moment when some bitter twist of fate in the universe will remind you that you very much dont. Often time and again People look at us believers to be foolish. They take us for granted, they scheme, cheat, lie, trick us by their worldly wisdom and at the end of the day they burst into laughter and say look at these fools. They forget that us believers we live by Jesus words, when a person slaps you on your right cheek, turn the other to him also, if compels you to go one mile, go with him two,not because it is not painful but because God is in control, to us obedience to God is everything and way of life. I wonder how in the world the wise people cannot be worried and think twice about non resistance of Christians they persecute, torment, cheat towards them. I wonder if they have read 1 Corinthians 3:18-19 or understood the words of Tom Hiddleston. Steve Jobs 2005 Stanford Commencement Address ended with him confessing that,he has always wished for himself to stay hungry and foolish. He urged graduates and wished them as well to stay hungry, stay foolish. THE GUY WAS A GENIUS, he understood heavenly wisdom and earthly wisdom but he chose the latter which looks foolishness to many though he was not a Christian. As believers l think we should be proud of this statement Stay Hungry, Stay Foolish!!! Because it is in our heavenly wisdom foolishness that we are wise.
