This is why Jesus Christ our Lord said, what shall it profit a man if he gains the whole world and lose his soul. Gaining the whole world to God is material prosperity because everything in the world is materialism. The soul is the only thing on earth that is supernatural. God is magnified when we prosper in our soul before looking for any other prosperity. This makes us not to look for material things at the detriment of our soul because we are aware that God cant be magnified. As a servant of God, does your prosperity magnify the Lord?
