Let the battle begin! Spent all of yesterday in Cashtown, about 6 miles west of Gettysburg. The confederate soldiers camped there before advancing to Gettysburg. Toured period homes, churches and farms/barns and even a tavern and learned so much. If any of you saw the movie Gettysburg, Sam Elliot and Martin Sheen stayed at the Cashtown Inn during the filming. Finished the day listening to music and enjoying wine outside at the Reid Winery. The mountain view is spectacular.
