Let us be clear: we, the family and community, want justice for Alex Nieto. The shock of what has happened is only now really beginning to sink in. First, of course, there is supposed to be grieving, but we have not even had time for that. The community support is powerful and that is more than comforting and inspiring. We cannot allow internal or external forces to fragmentize our positive momentum. We must keep faith and spirit alive and march forward, literally. Today at 3:00 p.m. at the San Francisco Mission Cultural Center allow each other’s pain and smiles to lead the way for all of us together. Alex loves you. “A Miracle” Ashes to ashes Dust to dust.
