Lets Start the Day With A Heartwarming **** BRAG ALERT ****: A proud Mom shares: I have a 15 year old ASD son. He doesnt care for crowds and can only make it through Christmas Eve service at church. (Goes to a special class the other Sundays) My Grandmother passed away last week and we traveled to the viewing and funeral. During the viewing he and his sister sat quietly in the back playing on their phones. This morning was the funeral. He sat through the whole service w/o his phone and didnt make a peep. He came up to the casket with me, and was very respectful. He even looked like he might cry. Then at the gravesite, my boy was a pallbearer with his Dad standing next to him and he did an awesome job. Then he sat quietly during the service. I am SO PROUD of him. I never thought that he would be able to do something like that. He and I also talked about people dying and he asked me questions, not just pretending to listen to me. My baby us growing up and I couldnt be more proud! Laura.
