Lets clear some things up shall we? If you are committing a crime - TopicsExpress

Lets clear some things up shall we? If you are committing a crime and are stopped by police, this is called Law Enforcement, not Profiling. Fact: walking in the street is a crime, a small one, but a crime non the less and enough for a police officer to stop you, especially if you continue to block traffic or refuse to move out of the street. This is the law and irrefutable. if you are stopped by police for committing a crime, no matter how small and you refuse to give your name, personal info and reason for being where you are, doing what your doing, this is also a crime, which gives the officer more reason, what we call probable cause to detain and arrest you. At this point if you again refuse, or do not cooperate, this is called resisting...which is also illegal. Now an arrest is going to be made and you begin to resist the arrest, or even worse, attack the officer...this is a crime, one in which the officer can use force to make the arrest or defend himself, depends on how far YOU, the CRIMINAL has escalated this encounter. The legally justified response by the officer at this time includes hard empty hand techniques, strikes with batons, pepper spray, Taser deployment and even, if its gotten that bad, such as going for his gun, or two subjects beating him, JUSTIFIABLE HOMICIDE..which means the killing of another human being in order to protect yourself or others from immediately grave injury or death. Now at this point, if you or your partner in crime have been shot by the officer...what you have to realize is this...YOU caused this to happen. YOU were committing a CRIME, no matter how minor, JUSTIFIABLY stopped by a police officer with PROBABLE CAUSE, RESISTED said police officer, ATTACKED said police officer and if you tried to disarm him, or if there were two of you, caused him to fear for his life, therefor shooting you....THIS IS WITHOUT QUESTION ALL YOUR FAULT, NOT THE OFFICERS. NO PROFILING, NO RACISM...this is called LAW ENFORCEMENT. And yes people, if TWO UNARMED subjects attack ONE ARMED SUBJECT, wither he be a police officer or not, this is enough for the armed person to use DEADLY FORCE on at least one of the attackers...as it is REASONABLE enough to conclude that two unarmed men, especially of larger stature, could overwhelm and disarm one armed person, most likely to kill that person with the weapon. This would apply to any average citizen, much less a police officer...as every person has a right to defend themselves. Hopefully this will clear things up for those that dont understand how these type things work..and maybe keep you or someone you know from getting shot...and keep a police officer from having to do what no police officer wanst to do, use lethal force against another person.
