Lets discus this..the VAT bill and increased prices...Now am thinking we should not be complaining as much..tht is if the collected taxes go to the intended national projects, e.g. the new rail frm Msa to Malaba, Northern corridor, the Lamu Port etc. Dont we all love the Think super highway n te traffic reduction it has brought about?? Dont we want to see much more of such major projects?? So if that is the case why cant we chuck out a lil bit more to support these projects rather than depending on the borrowed capital which everyone knows is way above the allowed % of the national GDP, coz we will still pay the debts at a later date. So the question is, should we live as we are with "affordable" food prices and continue with the poor infrastructure (which we all complain about everyday) or we allow the gov charge us a lil bit more and invest in the national development for all our good?? #YourOpinion
