Lets do it again! Money is starting to come in from people saving their spare change last month to help heat rez homes. I think this works! Lets do same for November! Missed it? Here you go: 30 DAYS FOR HEAT for First Nations / American Indians on the Rez I had an idea. Ran it by our Fund Raising Chair Russ Letica, and he enthusiastically agreed. You need to go find a jar, or box. Go ahead, right now, I’ll wait. OK. Beginning on November 1st put your spare change EACH NIGHT in the jar or box. Maybe it’s a nickel on Monday, maybe a buck on Tuesday. Maybe a quarter or a $5 bill. Its up to you. And you do this everyday for 30 days. At the end of the 30 day period, Nov 30th, that’s your last one. On December 1st, you send a check in the amount of the money you saved or PayPal it to us. You might be sending us a check for $2.00. You might say, that’s crazy, not worth it. Friends – we have over 10,000 people that watch us between our 3 Facebook sites, Twitter and MySpace. If you ALL sent in something - $2.00 or $2,000 – we’ll heat a whole lot of homes! Every penny will go to the EREZ Fund for heat - no admin costs - zero. Let’s do it. Do the math – it will ALL ADD UP. By the way – this would be a great project not only for you, but for kids, youth groups, civic groups, your friends at work etc. We can do this! Last year we heated 74 homes. The year before 48.
