Lets forget about Ferguson for a minute and go back to 9/11. There are thousand of publications with MILLIONS of pictures of that days events. What color were the people at ground zero? Go ahead. . Google some images.. they were GREY. Black, white, yellow, brown, purple, Catholic, Muslim, Protestant, Jewish people. ALL GREY. No one cared about color. There were so many other things to worry about. We came together as a nation. We flew the American flag proudly in our front laws. We held vigils for the deceased and missing. All standing side by side. Sadly enough, it took that disaster for me to see so many people show their pride for being an American. ALL different colors races, religions, genders. .. they stood together. Lets again forget about beliefs and color and stand together as Americans. How about no more African America, Italian American, etc. Just. .. AMERICAN. Maybe start a new slogan to help move past the events in Ferguson. Americans stand with Ferguson. What am I thankful for this Thanksgiving? Im thankful that my family came to America. Im thankful for the service men and women that fought for our country so my times to protect what we call home. Im thankful that my daughter can call this melting pot. . HOME.
