Lets get our facts straight. As far as we know every animal (including us humans) has the potential to spread disease. In terms of a genuine risk to human health, bats pose a negligible threat. Queenslanders live amongst crocodiles, sharks, stingers and the most deadly snakes on earth, and fools like this mayor want people to turn to jelly when they see a relatively harmless bat. Man up mayor - youre not just ignorant - youre a disgrace!
