Lets quit tiptoeing around - climate change threatens everyone on the planet. Weve been living in a 150 year orgy burning up millions of years of stored solar power in fossil fuels and adding that CO2 to the atmosphere. OF COURSE we are going to need to radically alter our lifestyles quickly and energy prices are going up a lot. There is no incremental change survival strategy. Politicians who like to compromise and acknowledge everyones concerns and always go for a middle route have to go. Sometimes there is no middle route option. This is one of them. I go with science and math and not generic hope or defeatist Gods will be done. Time is a wasting. Yes, energy prices are going up - how stupid do you have to be to not already get that? And you wont be able to fly in an airplane much. Or maybe we just ignore reality and party while we can? Come on Obama - we dont need to acknowledge fears of rising energy prices. We need to start swinging until we hear mercy from the anti-science and more importantly the wealthy fossil fuel baron crowd
