Lets talk about health care. To paraphrase Bill Maher... One party has been working very hard to give us access to health care, and the other has been working just as hard to take it away. If you need health care (and lets face it, who doesnt) why would you vote for the party that wants to deny access? Shall we count the lies? Death panels, forced implants, job killer, economy killer, personal freedom killer, etc... all proven wrong. Do you know where the biggest job growth has been lately? Health care. Anyone seen the dow, or the employment numbers? More specifically, the states that expanded medicare are just fine. Those who havent are seriously re-thinking that position, or risk upsets, even in their heavily gerrymandered districts. The ACA is not an entitlement program or socialized medicine. Its simply a level playing field for BUYING health insurance. The amount youll pay in taxes for medicare expansion, pales in comparison to the amount you pay for corporate subsidies, enjoyed by profitable corporations who dont need them, and certainly arent entitled. Now THAT my friends IS socialism and one whopper of an entitlement program. Discuss.
