Lets talk about vegan ( and vegetarian too ) nutrition. I have heard quite a few stories from people who went vegetarian or vegan and said they had to go back to meat and animal products for protein, iron, calcium, etc etc. I will ask them if they replaced those nutrients with plant based ones and I either get no reply or they say no. Well that is why! The fact is we can get ALL OF OUR NUTRIONAL NEEDS FROM PLANT BASED SOURCES! Yes this is entirely true! And the protein found in plants is leaner too. Also with animal sources protein you get saturated fats. Trans fat and saturated fats are the WORST fat for you. This is only found in animal fats and processed foods. Plant based foods does not have trans or saturated fats ( unless you are frying the foods in oils high in these fats, or deep frying. ). So if you are or want to cut down or cut out meat and dairy and other animal products take a look at these photos and please do some research into what your body needs and how to get it. Please take care of your health. Being vegan means being healthy- mind, body and soul. ~S🌺
