Lets talk lint. My current clothes dryer makes more lint than any other dryer Ive ever had. It makes so much lint that I attached a small wastebasket to the inside door of the laundry closet so I could conveniently dispose of the dryer lint on the lint screen after each use without having to walk 30 steps into the kitchen. Lint would fall on the floor and then Id have to vacuum. I now look forward to the lint trap cleaning like it was a big treat or something. I like to notice the different colors of the lint depending on what was dried and I like the texture. I wish there was something crafty I could make with the lint and sell on etsy. Because when a middle aged tired working woman is sitting alone in her flat at night watching tv and drinking wine and wondering where the years all went, she needs an existential yet soothing hobby---and I can think of nothing better than Lint-craft.
