Lets tribute our focus on this! Today I have intended to share my story and life journey with your folks Well, this is Yama Alizada, senior student of Mia Omar High School/AYC Lab. Wish you all are fine and having a cheerful and gainful life. Today I feel completely well and happy which inspires me to write a few lines regarded my life. I would like to start from the beginning. As about long years before, that the situation of Afghanistan was so bad because of Russian war, a lot of families have immigrated to Pakistan and my family was included of them. Moreover, I was about two years old when tended to immigrate to Pakistan due to the bad and appall situation was going upon the country furthermore, I was near to be reached to 6th year of my lifetime then as my family was educated and knew the importance of education in our life so, inspired and took me to get admission at one public elementary school by that name of (Rabia balkhi) in which I was busy studding my school subjects and to be honest, That was the only time I will never forget through my last breath. Because, I was really keen to learn and to be a good and famed personality within my country and from childhood I had a strong emotion to fight against the demolishers and those who try of bringing disasters into our country using different names. Believe me, my family was very in tension and was thinking about the country although we were happy living in Pakistan and were not faced to any tiny problem. But the country is the country that’s why we were at sea what will be happened to beloved Afghanistan and our cordial countrymen/women. So, the story can be very long if to include all what I passed and hate too. But let shorten it, so, after some years when the new regime has been started then we decided to be back to our country and start a new life into it. So, we came back and started our new life in our country. And my father inspired me to start my school back from 1st grad because I had studied Urdo books and I was totally un-costumed with the books and subjects written on the National Languages (Pashto/Dari) that’s why I started my school from 1st and prolonged till the my 12th grad with having some mementos and keep sakes from my schools lost period. Besides, I have started to learn English in one of private English courses by the name of Kabul Center because as I wanted to be a good personality then English was something which helps me to hit the target and achieve my long ran goals. I have followed my English till the end (Adv-two book) with having the best position into my classes and I was really smart because of daily memorizing of what I was being thought in the classes that’s why in surprise the principle of the said course has started some few classes under my name and this was the only day I felt independent in my life because my teams were coming to be true day to day. So, I have taught English almost for two years. And there was a teacher in my course by the name of Shafiullah who engaged me and leaded me to be joined with the servant program by the name of GCE/AYC which impacted and changed many of the youth’s lives. So, accordingly his instructions I took the straight detour to find one of its lab and registered myself for the upcoming Entry Test into Mia Omar AYC lab. In short, I can say that GCE/AYC not only trained me in its curriculum but also it familiarized me to be accustomed with some social activities, classroom activates, online activities which helped me a lot to increase my English and thoughts skills, volunteerism and so on. Which is the only need of our calamitous and pained country and it will not be exaggeration to tell you that, GCE/AYC was the only way I became challenger and supporter of my family. So, still I am passing my life journey with the program and I am trusted I will learn more allot and will chalk some more to my experiences and I would forever thankful of this program, the donors of the program, head office and other IT Staff of the program. To sum it up, let me thank from the program and its members once again and wish it to be more extent so as to help and serve to the poor masses of Jalalabad city in different schools free of charge. Thank you GCE/AYC Long life to you! gently yours, Yama Alizada Senior Student of Mia Omar AYC lab
