LET’S HEAD SOUTH •What: Seal Beach to Dana Point and back, 60-80 miles depending on turnout •When: Saturday, 8/9, roll 7:30AM (note 7:30 does not mean 7:35) •Where: Seal Beach Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf (347 Main St, Seal Beach) •Speed: Steady 2x2 peloton. Bigger peloton means faster speed. Assume tempo 23-24mph on flats, slower up rollers with a no drop policy. Think of this as a transition from race pace to noodle pace. •Rules: Ride next to someone you don’t know. Red lights = stop. •Prizes? Heck yeah! Two #mfwonton bottles up for grabs (awarded at CBTL).
