Letter from Monash Hospital, Acute Assessment Unit - Re Helen Goodall You have raised significant concern,s about the treatment she received during her stay with us including a lack of basic care and the availability of staff,I understand that the,Nurse Unit Manager for the A/A/Unit called you to discuss these concerns in detail. Ms B..... has followed up with the specific nursing staff involved in the care of Helen and raised your concerns with them. they are understandably very sorry that you felt the care was not adequate and have taken your feedback on to ensure this does not occur again As discussed with you Ms B... will also raise your feed back at the ward meeting and ensure all staff are aware Ms B... and her nursing staff are very sorry that Helen was not given the level of care that is expected All staff at the Monash are expected to adhere to iCare values of integrity, compassion, accountability,respect and excellence when dealing with patients,Carers and visitors. We are very sorry that this was not evident during Helen, admission..... Good to get result,s but we still do not Know what is wrong with Helen ???
