Letter of apology to EFF President MR Julius Malema by: Bongiwe Sithole Dear Mr. Julius Malema, I hope this finds you well. My name is Bongiwe Sithole, Online Journalist for Sunday World Online. I am formally writing this letter as an apology for misrepresenting your wedding in an article that was written on Tuesday 23 December. I would like to apologise for the unethical manner in which the story was reported; I didn’t verify the facts with you regarding your own wedding. I sincerely apologise for feeding the public information that was not correct. I had learned this untrue information from a Public Relations spokesperson who deals with booking artists for events. He had spoken about artists who were set to perform at your wedding. As a writer; I was completely wrong for not consulting with you first to check whether it was true or not. The credibility of the source has now been proven to be shoddy and false and this all falls into in my hands. I should have done more since I am the one who wrote this article. I take full responsibility of the blunder that I made and would like to sincerely ask that you pardon Sunday World Online for this terrible clumsy error made by my incorrect reporting.
