Letter to The President His Excellency, with due respect, you are the last hope for reformation and the people are strongly behind your vision and ideology, it is time you step up to stamp down all non-performers in your government. Ay bo! Sir, with the immeasurable efforts and strength you have applied in trying to rebrand the nation, there are individuals in your parental government that have vowed they would continue to destroy the structural legacy you are trying to build for posterity. Sir, taking into consideration Water Resources Ministry that ridiculously scored a pass mark in your government; it is a mere provocation and object of ridicule. In modern day assessment, model of measurement, scaling and test of significant models; you look at performance from practical result as institutions scorecards is based on result based approach, not literally reporting. Services should be evident, practical and near reach to its beneficiaries, which determines it nature in terms of quality, adequacy and process ( whether the process is transparent and those who suppose to be accountable are inclusive), not the traditional misleading pen and paper approach. what type of survey do they use to qualify this status to reaching such score? Take Central Freetown as a sample were children woke-up 3am to find fetch drinking water. Experience it in Kissy Road and other areas, and see how people are struggling at All Saint Church gutter, Samba gutter, Fergusson Street gutter, Joki bridge gutter, Dwarzak, King Tom, Congo town, Sumaila town, Mount Aureol areas, not to talk of kissy, wellington, Calaba town, Allen Town, Grafton - all these areas mentioned have forgotten about pipe bond water supply which should be one of the utmost priority basic services of a caring-parental government. Another consideration, the people are not provided with pure pipe bond drinking water, but everywhere there is sachet water hawkers moving around the city selling the same water the Ministry and its departments should provide for your people. These water dealers are not getting there waters from Guinea, USA, Europe, Asia, Australia nor Liberia, but get it from the same Sierra Leone. You go to Wilkinson Road, Shell Company Kissy new Road, KingTom, Babadorie, Brookfields, Hill Station, Aberdeen, Goderich, central Freetown; all domestic supplies have been diverted to these Fullahs, Lebanese, Ghanaian, and other egocentric Sierra Leoneans water companies owners/proprietors, leaving poor Sierra Leoneans to die of cholera, diarrhoea, typhoid, and other calamity. Sir, the Sierra Leones population is too small for its people not to be provided with efficient, consistent, adequate and effective water and power supplies, transportation and salaries that would take one along for a month, by providing oneself basic meal which is missing. It is a shock to nationalism. These sachet water business is one of the key causes of the countrys sanitation hazards. Everywhere there is dirty stored filthy water which also creates comfortable habitation for mosquitoes/killing insects and other infectious carriage and carrier. These are happening because appointed leaders in different departments are not working. we should understand that a government is a correlative mechanism; and where there is a fall or missing item, it breeds poor performance, no action, no result and no direction. The only healing and repairing mechanism is to discard the faulty item and replace it with a sober and original spare or replacements. Sir, with an utmost respect to your approach and vision, this Network can boldly inform you, Mr. President, that 85% of those you have placed in position of TRUST and performance have failed your ideology and tactically destroying your agenda. We have sample proofs to support our facts, if needed, we can give a whole donor supports budget to you which would help confirm our fact. The worst Ministries and Ministers are Agriculture, Forestry and Food Security; Mines and Mineral Resources; and Lands. We have been looking on other Ministries, but these three are the most infamous and unpopular ministries. For Agriculture, he goes out lobby for monies and come single headedly implement fake projects without evidences. Mines started with Alpha Khanu and continue with Minkailu Mansaray who have mortgaged the integrity and nationalism of Sierra Leoneans (disguise slavery in our land)(what have we achieved so far? the 174 wagon train? Musa Tarawally creating unnecessary enmity for the Presidents government of national unity, by maliciously disqualifying Sierra Leoneans to legitimately acquire land. Lands have been taken from Sierra Leoneans and diverted to Lebanese and Indians. Where are we going or where do we go from here? Ay bo! Signing fake documents, fake lease of red tape lands, change of documents, duplicating one piece of land to five ten twenty which most times causes lifes treat. Ar ya! However, your people know the relentless efforts you are making to achieve our Agenda for Prosperity, and you cannot be everywhere at the same time, but those who have been given responsibility based on service delivery, if they are not up to task , Sir, it is time you sack them and bring other sober-decent and dedicated to join and implement your ideology. There are so many dedicated ones out there having passion for excellence to make marks in our vision. For instance, see the practical marks institutions like NRA, PSRU, PSC, NCP, Anti-Corruption Commission, AUDIT, NPPA, Bank of Sierra Leone, MOFED, Tourism, NaCSA, EPA, Min. of Fisheries, Social Welfare and Foreign Affairs. We may agree with us that these highlights are by no means of bias-for nor bias-against, but they are practically adding values to your vision and your development agenda. Sierra Leoneans can list series of each mentioned their achievables in the socio-economic lives of Sierra Leoneans. The rest who carries huge amount of both donor and public funds are disappointments to your agenda. Omega will also be available to post substantive facts as a base of our study. Long live the President, Long live Sierra Leone. Thank you. Over and out! The Omega Core
