Letter to me from the PUPPET Young kid who did the audition on SYTYCD I dont think he meant any harm. Here is what he wrote: Paul Brushaber Hello sir, I would appreciate if you would be willing to begin dialog with me to sort out accusations from popping Pete. Let me say I did my best to research and try to find anything puppeting related before making claims and found nothing. I meant absolutely no disrespect to you, the other OGs or the culture itself. I was acting according to my best knowledge. I wish that through this we can achieve a common understanding. If credit be due elsewhere, then so be it. Id rather find truth than stand behind false claims (this is not to say my claims are false, but it is also not to say that they are true (as stated before I was acting to my best knowledge and wished not to steal someone elses ideas/credit nor step on anyones toes). It is to say I wish to find a common understanding between you, the community, and I to find what is and what is not). I have nothing but the upmost respect for you and the culture. If you would be willing to ask questions to me to fill in whatever gaps of understanding may be there and allow me to do the same to you, I would greatly appreciate it. Again, I meant no disrespect. I just wanted to share an idea that I thought interesting, entertaining, and new. It is the last of these three that seem to be taking the most heat, the next seems to be the mechanics of what I do.
