Let’s recap on some good Police Work. #LargeBuild #RobberyFail Yesterday, we responded to a Robbery with a weapon at F Street in Lake Worth. Apparently, the victim was sitting alone on a park bench. The suspects approached, brandished a screw driver and demanded the victims money. Suspect two, grabbed the victims cell and approximately $500, from her carry bag. The suspects then fled the area on foot. The victim chased after the suspects. Due to suspect one, having a large build the victim was able to keep and ultimately confronted him. A concerned citizen observed the incident taking place and dialed 911. Responding D14 Deputies detained Jose. Post-Miranda, Jose confessed to displaying a weapon and robbing the victim. Sebastian has been positively identified as suspect two. Jose was properly charged and then turned over to JAC for processing. Case cleared by arrest. While conducting a secondary robbery investigation, within D14, Robbery Detectives observed suspect Sebastian travelling in the area. With the assistance of D14 RP, Sebastian was taken into custody. He was arrested, properly charged and then turned over to JAC. Case cleared by arrest. #TriRailRobbery Yesterday around 4:15pm we responded to Strong Arm Robbery in Lake Worth. We learned while on scene that the victim was travelling from West Palm Beach to Miami via the FL Tri Rail system. At the Lake Worth train station the victim exited due to being uncertain to whether or not he needed to transfer trains. He approached three unknown males and asked for their assistance. The suspect males advised the victim that he had to travel to a nearby train station and board a secondary train. They offered to walk with him to the other train station. The victim agreed. While enroute the suspect males knocked the victim to the ground and then robbed him of his shoes and cell phone. A BOLO was disseminated to surrounding agencies. WPB PD located and detained the suspects. A show-up was conducted and the males were identified as the suspect robbers. They were found to be in possession of the victims stolen shoes and cell phone. Post-Miranda the suspects confessed to their participation in the stated robbery incident. They were arrested, properly charged and then turned over to their respective housing facilities. Case cleared by arrest.
