Let’s tell a story. A story of July 2014 in Baltimore. This is how it works. For the thirty-one days of July, film 1-3 clips each day of life happening from your perspective. Send those clips daily to julyinbaltimore@gmail (an emphasis on Baltimore, outside footage is welcome - I understand this is confusing, the best explanation is that the story centers around Baltimore but naturally/necessarily extends beyond the city limits). The resulting product will tell a collective story celebrating our individual stories and ‘how interconnected, intensely related, and wonderfully complementary our individual stories must be to the stories of those that surround us.’ Richness will result from a diversity of perspectives – phone camera (landscape orientation) to DSLR, a lazy afternoon to the ascent of a mountaintop, complete silence to engaging dialogue, 1-second to 3-minutes in length.
