Leviticus 8-15 is a commentary on the Fall of Man. When you understand this, you can link up the correspondences, and find very interesting things. For example, the leprosy laws correspond to the garments of skin that God clothes Adam in. The garments are symbolic of death and corruptible flesh. Biblical leprosy is a manifestation of decay- the whiteness of leprosy is an anti-glory. We were meant to shine brightly with divine life, but instead, the leprous person shines with the whiteness of death and decay. The biblical-theological implications of this are quite dramatic. Isaiah 53, for example, says that the Servant becomes leprous for the sake of His People. Zechariah 3 has the High Priest Joshua clothed in filthy garments and then re-invested with the high priestly robes. The high priestly robes are symbolic of the glory man was intended to shine with- thats why the outermost parts of the robes are the most reflective, and each element of the robes corresponds with an element of the Tabernacle. The Holy of Holies is the Breastplate, symbolizing the human heart.
