Lexi update- 6 days post op: Lexis cardiologist just came and gave us the results from the echo. Not exactly what we were hoping for. We have two choices, and a very hard decision to make. Her fluid around her heart has gotten a little bigger. We can either have her stay here, get her iv put back in, and do iv diuretics or go home on two heavy doses of oral diuretics, get rechecked on Friday, and if its gotten bigger, turn around Friday and get READMITTED to the hospital. We dont wanna get home and settled good for a day, then have to turn around and come back, but then again we are ready to go home! He said he would probably feel ok going home if it were him, but then again, things keep getting bigger...ie: lungs now heart. ❤️ #teamlexi
