Lexington, KY ~ SOX NEEDS IMMEDIATE RESCUE! Contact: Sarah at sarahthewayhome@gmail Soxs owner recently contacted TWHRA for help in rehoming his dog, Sox. He has MS (Multiple sclerosis) and has it has rapidly progressed, which is making it difficult for him to properly care for Sox. Also, he is getting evicted from his apartment due to financial hardships from his medical condition, so needs a place for Sox immediately. Sox was acquired from a breeder who had a female pittie girl that got loose and got pregnant by the neighbors labrador retriever, so Sox is a lab/pit mix. She will be 2 yrs old this coming October, is already spayed, and vaccinated. She is extremely affectionate and loving with a fabulous personality and disposition. She is accustomed to being around toddler aged children as well as older children, and she is also good with other dogs as well as cats (she has frequently been around both in visiting family members and friends with dogs and cats). Sox is housebroken. She is currently living in an apartment. She would be well suited to a home with either a fenced yard or with someone that can get her out and about frequently for walks and exercise if there is not a fenced yard. She is approximately 45-50#. Sorry the pics arent that great, but any of her pittie features are more so in her face. The rest of her body, hair coat, etc are more like that of a lab.
