Liam woke up not feeling really well tonight. Dazed and confused! And SEVERE ataxia - he wanted me to carry him downstairs and when I asked why, he started crying and said, I have really bad ataxia, please carry me! (of course I did!) We went downstairs and within 15 minutes, he wanted to go back upstairs. I got him 2 juice boxes with lots of vitamin C. He had a slight fever so I gave him some dye-free Tylenol (no Motrin unless the fever is very bad, as Motrin is not good for kidney patients in general). He gave me some smiles and silly faces before bed, but he was pale and had big circles under his eyes. He said he felt sick. He had a runny nose too. HOPING this isnt the start of something bad. Were very scared of the enterovirus around here since he gets bad asthma and difficulty breathing with sicknesses. I have a deep cough so I hope he isnt going to have that! Well hes off from school the rest of the week anyway, so he has time to recover before he goes back to school next Monday. Please say a little prayer that this goes away and doesnt flare up his asthma.
