Life After Death…The Novel, is a story about Christopher Combs who was tried, convicted and sentenced to death for two counts of first degree rape, one count of first degree murder and one count of first degree attempted murder. From the day he was charged, he screamed at the top of his lungs of his innocence to anyone who had ears. His cries fell on deaf ears until DNA results proved his innocence. Even though his parents died nearly broke due to his lawyer fee’s and his younger brother’s disappearance from his life, he vowed he would forgive and move on with his life if the victim of a brutal rape and shooting, admitted her wrong and apologized for causing his imprisonment for a decade plus. He also vowed if he wasn’t given his due apology, he would murder anyone that had anything to do with his conviction; Which would include the jury, prosecutor and judge who presided over his case. After the judge apologized for the mis-carriage of justice that he was subjected to, he turned around and looked into her eyes. She maintained his stare, rose to her feet and… stuck up her middle finger. Everybody that was seated behind her were her supporters and have been throughout the entire process. They all followed suit by standing up and sticking up their middle finger at him.
