Life can be a funny thing, or it can miserable. Life for anyone is not on a set course nor set in stone. Life changes with each move we make like the moves of a chess game. It is the decisions and actions we take that will ultimately decide if our lives will be ones of happy prosperity or gloomy desperation. A big part of this defining motion of our lives is who we have in them. Ask yourselves this question. Are you seating in a vibrant and colorful lobby full of family and friends or are you standing in a dark and damp cell alone? As I stated earlier, life is uncertain. While it can be uncertain, one certainty does lie within it and that is the future is unknown. We do not know if the walls of human society will crumble in our life time or if the sounds of peace will ring out across the globe. If you answered the question above with the standing in a cell alone, you will find that no matter how the future turns out you will still be miserable. Who will celebrate with you in times of joy and elation? No one for you are alone. Who will help you when the burdens of life become unbearable in times ahead? No one. However, these scenarios would differ if you answered the question above by saying you were sitting in a lobby full of family and friends. You could share the moments of excitement and happiness with everyone. You would be a better person because of the people you knew. If the future ahead was bleak and dismal, it would not matter. You would have those you love there to help you, to care for you, and to nurture you. The main point I am trying to make is simple. A lesson all people should hold close to their hearts. You must find ways to put aside bitter feuds and abrupt hate. You must find ways to keep people together. For the more people we have in our lives, the better our futures are no matter the outcome.
