Life is a constant flowing river. Every moment everything dies and is reborn, creating a constant, changing stream of existance. Now attachment is clinging. When one clings, one clings to the mental construct of the object. This can be alikened to grasping onto a rock in the middle of a flowing river. If you grab onto this rock, it will cause trouble for you. Eventually it will lead to you drowning. If you release and just exist without grasping, the river will take you on its own accord. Things will be much easier in terms of suffering. That being said, attachment is neither good nor bad, it just is. Good or bad are constructs of the mind, they are conditioned, impermanant. If you step outside your mind, do such notions still apply? Who or what is applying them? Just relax, breathe and be. All else will come of its own accord as the river takes you to it.
