Life is an accordion. We all know how an accordion works. We all know one thing is certain . . . life inside the bellows of an accordion would be a rough one. Sure, there would be long periods of rest and even possibly years of no action at all. But, if you were to actually build your home within the bellows of the accordion, you would be well aware that you were living in a danger zone. You would know that at some point, you and everything you hold dear WILL BE thrown about and shattered. You would know going into it that youd ALWAYS be picking up the pieces of your life and rebuilding your fragile little world . . . ever wondering when the next time would come that everything would be turned upside down again. Every . . . single . . . day. It would be foolish thing to build a home in such a place, wouldnt it? But thats exactly where so many of us choose to do . . . live within the bellows of life, when were the ones who are supposed to be playing the accordion in the first place. Life is an accordion. We all know how an accordion works. We all know one thing is certain . . . it takes turbulence within the bellows to build up pressure before the accordion can begin to sing. We also know that turbulence and pressure within the bellows of an accordion must be maintained to keep some sort of tune going. Without the constant jovial-crushing of leather-encased air, the accordion will soon begin to sound horrible. Or worse yet . . . become limp and lifeless. Just like an accordion, it takes the constant turbulence of life to make sure theres enough pressure within so YOU can sing. Life is an accordion. We all know how an accordion works. We all know for certain that we may choose to . . . • LIVE within the bellows of the accordion • BE the accordion • Be the one PLAYing the one playing the accordion Heres my #Christmas gift to you . . . If you arent sure where you going in life, look at three options above—make a choice and start there. If you know where youre going to life, than I raise a virtual glass of eggnog your way and invite you to join me in a jovial tune. But, hey . . . Before we get started, lets make sure there isnt any junk or freeloaders in our bellows. We dont need things like that gumming up with the works . . . it makes for a janky tune. Ready? Ah 1, ah 2, ah you know what to do . . .
