Life is busy......not enough time...... The photo of Sophie on the carousel was taken on July 26, 2006. I remember that day as a busy day trying to get 4 kids out the door on time for our parish picnic. I had a to do list that never seemed to end and there never seemed like there was enough time in one day to get everything accomplished. The next photo was taken on August 20, 2006 less than a month later. It was the last photo ever taken of our Sophie. The diagnosis of a pediatric brain tumor and then soon after the tragedy of losing our daughter, made us realize how quickly ones life can change. I have no recollection of what was on the super-sized to do list nor if any of the items ever got done. I dont remember if my house was clean, if laundry was done or if the grass was cut. The busyness of life slowed to a halt for our family and more important things became priorities. Life is still busy....but now our busy is trying to make a difference in the lives of children diagnosed with pediatric brain tumors....we dont have time not to!
