Life is not meant to be done alone. yet, somewhere along the line society let how are you? -- doing well! become an acceptable and expected exchange. somewhere along the line we forgot that people are just that... people. imperfect human beings that will never get it all right. so why do we give and accept the simple, shallow responses? so often we smile and mindlessly recite the socially acceptable and superficial answers.. even when the reality is that things are unbearably heavy and seem to be crashing down all around us. how can we truly dig in, get our hands dirty, and wage this war together if we dont take the time to let someone tell us how theyre ACTUALLY doing? thats where this weeks life hack comes from... || create an environment that fosters vulnerability and leaves no room for shame || ...be intentional with your questions. create a space where others can be completely open and honest. people arent always looking for life changing advice, sometimes they just need to know that someone is listening.. that someone is willing to hear their heart, stand by their side, and truly believe in them.
