Life is short...the impact of that statement has really just hit me. As we venture out this evening for a reservation to do a little fine dining let me take a moment to THANK everyone from the deepest part of my heart for the overwhelming support on our recent engagement. As my mother is surely smiling from Heaven & my spirit soars to connect with hers I admit I wish she was here. When a girl gets to marry the love of her life she wants her mom, however, she, along with my loving grandparents are unable to attend in person but Im positive their love will be felt as strong that day as any other. I am who I am because of them all & my wish for Nancy & I is that we always look at each other with the love, treat each other with the respect & cherish the touch of one & other as we did the first day we met. May my grandchildren know the freedom to be true to themselves & believe that love is unconditional as a direct result of our actions. Jeremiah 1:5, Isaiah 40:31 & Corinthians 13:4-8 these are the verses I hope my little people know & understand. Looking forward to Ohio legalizing love so we can get this party started!!!!
