Life is so wonderful! I am so happy that I can think like that again. Today we had a party at our residence, it is called an international food party. Everyone could join if we brougt at least one dish. Therefore we residents of B22 were so busy preparing for the party all day long. Luckily we all are pretty nice cooks, so finally we made gorgeous dishes!! I and another Japanese girl made three different types of rice ball and they were popular among other residents at the party. But dishes made by Taiwanese mates were much nicer, just amaizingly brilliant!! Ther dishes had gone immediately after they put them on tables at the party. Although I had no contribution to their cook, but I was proud of myself being their housemate :-) ! After the dinner, we B22 residents returned our room but we still had another PRIVATE party at our place, it is a wonderful tea party. One of Taiwanese housemates prepared FANTASTIC tea ( oh, I missed the chance to use this adjective! I should have expressed my feeling by this word tonight), tea with ginger and brown sugar. It was just amaizing!! Actually weather was not nice tonight, lets say, it was terrible---raining, windy and sometimes even we heard thunderstorm--we all were freezing the end. The amaizing tea warmed us so nicely. Besides that, we had nice guests for our tea party, three Taiwanese guys whom we met at the food party. They were also very nice, I would say, just so cute and sweet ( I really realised I am so mature now, not anymore young like a teenager). We enjoyed our talk as well. During the tea party, again my thought automatically returned to the days in Amsterdam. We--I and friends- had many parties and dinners. Tonight I remembered my very early days at Plantagemuidergracht. I was just thinking how my world expanded afterwards....indeed, due to my poor English my world was really small at the beginning, I could not really express myself so much, but eventually I could meet lots of nice and interesting people and we shared so many nice experiences.Having a cup of tea ( or in most cases it was a glass of wine??) or cooking and eating together were the so-called prelude of nice friendship I remembered. Among people whom I met tonight, there are some I might not meet again but also there are some I can develop nice friendship with. Anyway I am very happy tonight to have such a nice gathering like tonights.
