Life is such an amazing thing. You never stop learning. Ive been thinking a lot about my inner dialogue over the past several months. Todds death really brought things into perspective for me this past couple days. This tragedy is showing us all how important we are to each others lives and well being. The love and support Ive witnessed these past few days really affirms that life is too short... Too short for enemies, hate, animosity, or negativity of any kind. Something so simple as a positive point of view versus a negative can and always will affect the outcome. I wont apologize for the negative things Ive said and done, but I can say that I did the best I could at the time, based on what I knew at the time. Todd helped me realize one of the most valuable of all lessons. Its not what you have...its what you give. Ive never met a more selfless individual, and will forever admire my fallen brother for that. While looking back for answers, I started to take notice of things as seeming obvious, that werent apparent at all before. Tonight, I scrolled through years of my FB posts and literally saw the sources of my problems clear as day. I had turned some allies into enemies and wasted so much effort complaining about the problems of the world. Time for change. Im starting with the source...this guy. Its time to murder my ego and realize that we all have different views. Listening is usually much more important than speaking. This has been quite a year. Weve all lost some loved ones and gone through hardships of our own. I realized that my diet had been killing me slowly. I feel now that Im on purpose to become better as a whole and have lost about 60 lbs so far as a vegetarian. Shedding anything you dont need is quite therapeutic. Now its time for some mental healing. Thank you all for being a part of my life through all of the good and not so good times, there will be many more to come. I love you all and thank you all for your part.
