Life is uncertain. You don’t know if you’re going to do well on a test until after you take it; you don’t know if you’re going to complete a pass until after you throw it; and you don’t know how amazing chocolate lava cake is until after you taste it (and trust me, you don’t want to pass that up). Though all of these things are filled with uncertainty, we don’t hesitate to continue taking chances every day. We take these risks because we know that when we do, we increase our chances of learning something new, and we make ourselves better. Applying to the Innocents Society is an opportunity that is definitely worth taking. It has helped me grow in more ways than I thought possible. I am surrounded by 12 adventurous, unique, and inspiring individuals, most of whom I would not have had the chance to meet if it wasn’t for my membership in the society. The diversity of the group has taught me just how important it is to not be afraid of who you are. While we are all highly aspirational and driven, everyone’s individual personality adds to the beauty of our Innocents family. Apply for the 110th class of the Innocents Society and take a chance on gaining the opportunity to make life-long friendships with truly amazing people.
