Life lesson #45328. When going fishing late in the afternoon on a lake in Tasmania in a boat one needs to: take note of where one is going relative to place of departure; not assume the driver of the boat knows where they are going; do not get mesmerised by fish rising and hang around too long as the sun goes down; investigate beforehand to see if the boat has a GPS and activate it and use tracker; take lots of warm clothes; make sure boat has a large torch. This is to avoid or deal with getting lost on said lake in Tasmania in the dark without a large torch and needing to get rescued.
