Life of an sleepless man.... There were times in my life that I just imagined time stands still... Tonight is one of these nights... As I sit on a bench in nothing more that a pair of sweatpants, and yes, no shirt on, I find my mind wondering at 12am in the morning. I moved from watching I Love Lucy to my bench by the mailbox. What makes the mind so uneasy after doing absolutely nothing all day.... You think that the mind would want to settle and close its eyes to fall gently into a deep coma like sleep and wake refreshed ready to tackle the challenges of the next day... Well, in this case, I find my body wanting to go and start a 26.2 mile run barefoot and just run.... But you see, my body has a slight imperfection right now... You see, my lungs, whom I grown very fond of over the years, has other plans.... On my island, yes, my island we are on the worlds most active volcano... From time to time, the lava flow spits outs high levels of volcanic vog.... This is by far very annoying to many of us who do not tolerate it as well as others... Especially ones with asthma... So, the best you can hope for is a serious case of the trade winds, or even better, a massive rainstorm to wash away the pollution... Funny, every time I tried to spell pollution, the auto create would populate politicians... I guess in this case, they are two of the same..... Well after a few healthy slips of fireball, a snuggled up wife on our Lani, I believe I my haves eyes kids have reached a point to a place to stop my useless witting for the night... No doubt I will pick up mi gibberish writing again very soon..... But until then .... Bry
