Life plays its special trick on us ALL at some point when we’re least expecting. It’s the trick of the “end.” Suddenly, that lifetime goal you’ve been fighting so hard to accomplish, or that “dream” car you’ve been saving up for could have easily never existed… You suddenly think of the love and appreciation you haven’t shown, and the time you wasted not laughing and playing together… We suddenly experience a detachment of what we thought was important and NOTICE what was really important all along... To share laughter, true love, giving unconditionally, friendship/companionship, speaking gently and mindfully to each other, forgiving, forgetting all those exhaustive, petty, details; learning from nature’s wisdom and seeing how magical it is. These things, although seemingly cliché, are what really fulfill us and is the source of our happiness and meaning. The “end,” although it is an illusion, learn from it. As I type, you and I both are not promised this next moment. So, while you are running around crazy before the holiday comes, buying gifts for your loved ones, remember the only “thing” you both can take with you in the “end” is the memory of time well spent together, so do yourself and others a favor, spend it how you would want it to be remembered : ) https://youtube/watch?v=NSEd6O0bBFs
